Escape from Illustration Island has closed up shop.

I recently finished the first 13 issues of Artifacts and the second month of DCnU.

I was mildly disappointed that for Artifacts they chose to use a science/alternate dimension foil as the antagonist especially considering they were dealing with 13 artifacts of mystical origin but overall the series was entertaining. I am piqued by the changes made in the Top Cow univsrse.

Month 2 of DCnU left me pretty much where the first month did. Animal Man is the top, Swamp thing slid don a little bit. I can see why Mike Myers enjoys OMAC so much but it's not scratching any itches for me. The rest of the books are pretty much holding some increased my interest slightly so lost some interest for me. I will finish reading my books for February 2010 and then get back to the DCnU.
